Last updated June 16, 2026. Effective date: June 16, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Abrega, Inc. ("Dadoula," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information, and the rights you have under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). The data controller is Abrega, Inc., 651 N Broad St, Suite 201, Middletown, Delaware 19709, USA.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Account data: your name or nickname, email address, and password credentials.
  • Pregnancy data you choose to enter: due date, current week, appointments, tasks, journal entries, and mood check-ins. Some of this may constitute health-related data, which is treated as a special category.
  • Usage and device data: app interactions, device type, operating system, identifiers, and approximate (non-precise) location derived from IP address.
  • Support data: messages and information you send when you contact us.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically through your use of the App, and from service providers such as analytics and infrastructure vendors.

2. How and why we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and personalize the App, including your weekly guidance and reminders.
  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support.
  • Analyze usage to maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Send service communications and, with your consent where required, marketing.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Legal bases for processing (EU/UK GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the App and the features you request.
  • Consent: for processing health-related (special category) data you enter, for non-essential cookies, and for marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, analyze, and improve the App, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:

  • Service providers (processors) such as cloud hosting, analytics, and email delivery, bound by data-protection agreements.
  • App stores and payment processors when you make a purchase.
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger.

5. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and may process your information there or in other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, unless a longer period is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data; to object to or restrict processing; and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email hello@dadoula.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

EU/UK residents: you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Dadoula is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Cookies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies. For details and your choices, see our Cookie Policy.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you in the App or by email before they take effect. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
